Ponchos and leather mark Hermes show

In his third collection for Hermes, the house of the jet-setting fashion buyer, Christophe Lemaire flew business-class to Argentina, where he reworked the iconic Gaucho look in an accomplished fall-winter display.

The first piece introduced gentle, hanging silhouettes: a long fringed cape in navy blue was worn like a South American poncho. While wide low-slung pleated gaucho pants mixed with sumptuous nude leathers — the house's signature material — that were so soft, they moved as if they were living and breathing. There were nods to the season's must-have, the boxy-jacket, with one charcoal number reworked on a high white collar, in the style of Spanish equestrian garb. But Hermes, in typical style, was all about comfort. The relaxed look was perfected with subtle contrasting pieces: a coat was so cool it hung from one shoulder, yet also had the fierceness of a matador cape. Lemaire's interest in orientalism is nothing new. But Sunday saw the theme restyled in a series of pajama-inspired dresses with intricate Persian prints that could be worn by women of all ages. And indeed the show saw models in their 40s walk down the runway.

I would apologize about the low quality of the pictures but I can't find better one.

Low cost Karl?

Karl Lagerfeld has unveiled his debut collection for his new, more affordable line Karl for the first time in full today. With prices starting at £50 for fingerless gloves and detachable collars, highlights include sequinned dresses and skirts, crisp white shirts with cut-away back detailing, tough leather jackets and T-shirts bearing the Chanel helmer's famous face. I think that if you want to be fashionable and really glamourous to a party without paying too much, you can consider the idea of wearing a Karl Lagerfeld low cost dress, it let you stand you out from the crowd and make you a star!

You can find some outfits below! Enjoy it!

A stunning Japanese designer.

Nowadays Japan is very popular in Occidental world, not only for its amazing customs and traditions. Japan is fascinating also for its fashion designers. In my opinion Issey Miyake is one of the most popular and established fashion stylist in the world. His clothes are really simple to wear and the lines as well. I love his latest show in Paris, where he presented his F/W 2012/2013 Men Collection. The men’s design team at Miyake created the illusion of layering via a variety of techniques: assembling checked cloth like pieces of a puzzle to produce wavy patterns; and dip-dying check flannel jackets and trousers using a traditional Japanese technique. I really love his trousers, they are pure and comfortable. I liked shirts and jackets but not coats. If you made trousers SO SIMPLE, you cannot exaggerate on coats color and its fabric textures. What I totally appreciate is an oversize coat similar to a poncho, the color and lines are really fashionable and glamourous. I also love coats with large metal studs, STUNNING!

Below you can watch the entire Issey Miyake's fashion show brought to you by FTV and looks I prefer the most.

YSL, Men f/w collection 2012

PARIS FASHION WEEK 2012. Stefano Pilati's Yves Saint Laurent boys will be dressed strictly in black and white next autumn/winter, albeit with the odd splash of grey. Leather detailing was applied to shoulders, sleeves and lapels, making for a modern, clean look. I totally love how YSL maison can mix future style to past fashion, and I really like leather details on jackets and coats, but I think that the new collection is an exaggeration of those details! I mean, it's not so good if my collection is like a man fetish costume in a porn shop! That's why I published only what I like of that collection, as you see I staved off clothes full of leather. I really love fur collar and double-breasted coats. If you love high-waisted trousers and old-fashioned clothes mixed with futurist details this collection suit you perfectly.
It can let you stand out from the mob.
